I’m getting excited for the reading marathon this weekend, 24 in 48! Basically the way it works is that you read 24 out of 48 hours. I’ve done Dewey’s Readathon many times in the past but of course never read he entire 24 out of 24 hours because not only can I not stay awake for 24 hours straight, but I certainly couldn’t fight my extreme tiredness by reading.
This one is a lot better because 24 in 48 hours is just more realistic to me. I’ve never actually read the entire 24 hours but I have every intention of doing so this year – even though I always have that intention.
But! This year I have a Bullet Journal and have made up a pretty cool page for the 24 in 48. I am really letting a lot of my embarrassing secrets out in this post, aren’t I? So far my spread has a slot for books read, pages read, snacks / food eaten, cups of coffee consumed, walks gone for (I listen to books on tape and get my heart rate up for more reading!) and meditation done.
Anyone else doing this readathon? Anyone else not only doing this readathon but also have a Bullet Journal spread for it?
Wow, that sounds like a crazy readathon!! Best of luck 🙂
That sounds like such a good idea!! I agree that reading for 24 hours straight would be too hard, because I tend to fall asleep when reading. But 24/48 sounds do-able. How many books would you be able to read in that time?

I ended up finishing four – but one of them was over 700 pages. It was a lot!
